Completion of Class Certification for S/Y SATORI

S/Y Satori  was built in Bodrum in 2017. Finished in glossy mahogany and walnut with teak decks, wood panelling and large windows throughout,  Satori  embodies the slow living and exquisite detail of classic bygone-era sailing.  The yacht is in the shipyard to complete the Classification Society and Flag State's Due List for the certification.

The Refit Services: Giving Yachts a Second Life

The refit season at Ağanlar Shipyard never stops. This year Ağanlar Yachtshas completed the full refit of 14.90m tirhandil boat. The yacht was built in 1995 by Mazlum Ağan, and named 'Erol' after his son. This tirhandil had high sailing performances, she was super successful during Bodrum Cup's regattas. Later the yacht was sold and got the name 'Froggy'. A couple of years ago she was found in Istanbul in rather poor condition, sunken after a severe storm. The new owner did everything possible to deliver her to Bodrum, as he believed that only at Ağanlar this beautiful boat has a chance for a 2nd life. After the full restoration Handelis is afloat again.
Another yacht under the refit is 18.50m 'Lucky Lady'. This classic gulet was built by Erol Ağan in 1985, and used to have the name 'Serenat''Lucky Lady' is totally renewed, only 30% of the framing and the keel left original. She now has a fully cold-molded hull and new deck. The gulet is being renovated under RINA class rules, and will be available to the European market with CE certification.
